Son Goku and Launch slept in one bed, while Kuririn and Muten Roshi slept in futons downstairs. The next day, Roshi woke Kuririn up at 4:30 A.M. and went upstairs to wake up Goku also. He found that Launch had sneezed and turned into her bad personality in her sleep during the night. He woke up Goku with a broomstick, but Goku spoke too loud and Launch awoke to find Goku in her bed. She pulled out a gun and fired at Goku, while Roshi hid in a dresser drawer. Angered, Goku gave her a swift kick and knocked her out. Roshi hovered over Launch and was about to touch her when he remembered Goku and explained that he was testing the wind speed with his finger.
